Colour + Noun Celebrates The Brilliance Of Monty Python With Something Completely Different

It’s sad to think that there is a generation out there that isn’t familiar with the sensational British sketch comedy series, “Monty Python’s Flying Circus.”  The series ran on the BBC from 1969 – 1972 and influenced comedy, television, and film, much like The Beatles had their immense impact on music.

Well Colour + Noun in Leeds, U.K. is getting ready to pay tribute to the ground-breaking comedic group comprised of Terry Jones, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Graham Chapman, Eric Idle and of course, Terry Gilliam, with an officially licensed art exhibit.

Launching May 27th and called, “And now for something completely different…” the exhibit features all-new art, paying tribute to the brilliance that is Monty Python.  Artists from all over the world have put their talents to the test including:  Alan Campbell, Andrew Swainson, Antiquated Press (Joe Carr), David Merveille, Graham Pilling (ArmyofCats), Graham Carter, Hari-deepti, Iain Macarthur, James Lewis, Jonathan Burton, Luke Drozd, Paul Shipper, Peter Strain, Phil Morgan, Raid71 (Chris Thornley) and Tony Rodriguez.
